A new chip packaging design, inspired by Apple’s M-series, connects the A20 Pro directly to a custom vapor chamber that dissipates heat and boosts performance for multitasking, gaming, and demanding AI processes. A new display engine manages both the inner and outer screens simultaneously, enabling seamless transitions between them. The six-core CPU outperforms the A19 Pro’s CPU by up to 20%, making it the fastest smartphone CPU; the seven-core GPU is up to 40% faster and more efficient; and the new 16-core Dual Neural Engine doubles the computing power for running on-device AI models. Additionally, the A20 Pro offers 50% more unified memory bandwidth and is manufactured using the latest 2-nanometer process technology.
